At first glance these tube may look like beautiful holiday wrapping papers but these tubes are actually tubes of pasta for one! Designer Alessia Olivari created these as a personal project.
“In Italy pasta is a diet pillar, but abroad, if people want to enjoy pasta only for one evening, huge boxes are useless. So I thought of a single unit pasta box. It has a tubular shape and it is made with printed cardboard. Every kind of pasta has a different pattern that recalls Italian tradition. The first kinds of pasta I thought of are spaghetti, orecchiette and fusilli, because they are very different both as cooking time and structure, so a lot of different recipes can be cooked with them, but many more are coming soon!”
