Sydney based agency Our Revolution have created the packaging for Hatchet Fish Ales, a line of brews from a local micro-brewery. The design takes direct inspiration from the mysteriously vast deep sea and the fish that call it home.
“Hatchet Fish Ales are produced by two fisherman friends in a Sydney based micro-brewery. Sharing a love for craft beers, they embarked on creating the perfect dark and pale ale to accompany their many fishing trips. They put the same amount of patience into brewing their ales as they do when waiting for that perfect catch of the day.”
“Our Revolution created the name ‘Hatchet Fish’, inspired by the elusive deep sea Hatchetfish, who break the pitch-black darkness of the deep sea to cast captivating blue and silver light that reflect off their scales. Combining the iconography of the fishing hook, waves, rope and fish into one label to capture the spirit of getting that first bite on the line.”
