Natura Teas, Soups and Shakes

 



Lab Mattar, a food branding design studio, sent in this packaging for Natura teas, soups and shakes:

"The names of the pruducts refers always about "our feelings" like: "Shake of Satisfaction" (made of passionfruit and mango - makes you calm) Teas: "Sip of happyness"

Vintage Beer Packaging

Our friend, Lance Wilson sent in some photos of some awesome vintage beer cans:

"I have something I thought you all might find interesting. My friend/classmate Dan Becker and I were able to shoot a portion of an extensive beer can collection (2000+ cans) containing cans from the past 70 years or so. We have a set on flicker of 163 cans which was just recently featured on Design Observer. You can check it out here."

He says that they will be shooting more cans in the future, so check back frequently.

Edward Pearson of GRAFIKART sent in these redesigns. The story behind this brand, which was begun by a gentleman named Rigoberto Rodriguez Rodriguez in the late 1800's is as follows, according to Edward:

"The story is quite funny, as he [the founder] ventured in making these piscos and wines, he would get together at the distillery with his friends in the hot summer afternoons and they would booze away. Whenever any of his friends got drunk, he would write a poem in the form of an epitaph. The friend would get buried metaphorically in one of the niches--thus the name 'Los Nichos.' So when you visit the place, down in the cellar it's full of these niches with very funny poems describing how everyone got drunk over 100 years ago.

The brand needed refreshing. Thus the new design, all lined up with extreme simplicity. There are two flourisheds. One depicts the Spirit which is more subtle in form and the other is for the Farm where the idea is the energy from the universe and the energy from the earth meeting in the middle. One Pisco is designed slightly smarter than the other for product quality difference. The design is printed directly onto the bottle.

The design leap is quite significant but it's really served its purpose as it has had tremendous acceptance in the Pisco drinking community."

Organa organic carbonated softdrink

Art director, Nikolaj Fremming of Denmark agency Rosenstand & Co. sent in this packaging for a new organic softdrink that comes in three different flavors and is made from natural, organic ingredients and sparkling water.

Laurent-Perrier Champagne

 

Our friend Aaron De Simone of I Heart Luxe gave us a heads up on this new rose champagne offering from Laurent-Perrier in conjunction with Baccarat.
