New work from Samantha Ziino, a student at RMIT.
"We had to do a project on an existing polish vodka alcohol. Pravda is a Polish vodka that prides itself on purity & fine ingredients. The bottle & box are white & simple creating an aesthetic purity. A little red is used to distinguish the brand whilst staying true to Polish culture."

"This unique brand of Polish Vodka carries a herb/organic flavour due to the use of Bison grass within each bottle. The Bison roam the Bialoweiza forest in Poland and due to their weight, leave unique bold shaped footprints through the dirt - these shapes acted as inspiration for the bold font I have created for the label name. When people think of Poland they usually associate the country with the war and as traditional - this new/fresh vodka label moves away from that notion and manifests the contemporary side of Poland."
"Tea - bag promotional collateral for K.W.DOGGETT’s ‘JPP SYNTHETIC’ paper range. To communicate the key message of ‘waterproof and durable’, I created a set of 4 tea-bag tags made out of JPP synthetic to allow designers/creatives to be able to physically interact with the paper and witness the effects while dunking the paper into their tea cup. When they are finished with the tag, they can tear off the top and they are left with K.W.DOGGETT’S business details on the other side."

3 Projects by Maria Papadonikolakis, a recent graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City:
"This isn't just an ordinary case of beer. What makes this packaging so "revolutionary" is the fact that it's an 8-pack and the cans are big. Targeted for men who want to be big and powerful like Chairman Mao himself. The lining of the faces represent a strong Chairman Mao army, as well as the idea of communism."
"Muhammad Ali is known as "invincible", but in reality, he endorses first aid supplies to keep his "invincibility" image. I thought putting his face on first aid supplies not only gives that message, but it's also someone kids can look up to when they're injured and using these products."
"Chocolate is well known to put a smile on someone's face. With a fun package, maybe it'll give people even more joy. Targeted to all chocolate lovers."

David McGillivray, a student at at Brighton University, sends in one of his latest projects:
"The project is a non commercial brief that I completed recently at university. The brief was to create a special commemorative stamp collection for 2010. As the end of the decade will mark 50 years of the female oral contraceptive in the UK, I chose this as the focus for the stamps. The collection emulates a packet of contraceptive pills themselves with the dosage guidance forming part of the stamp graphics. The idea was to create something humorous but also something unusual that would intrigue people."

What a brilliant use of packaging to create something so much more than the product itself:
"I created this spaghetti packaging for a university project last year. The brief was to package one of 5 difficult items i.e. eggs, a rose, custard powder, spaghetti or marbles. I chose spaghetti. The spaghetti sits on a 3d model of the chrysler building that was modelled on CAD by my friend Ben Thorpe. And then modelled out of high density foam at uni. Creating a spaghetti model of the Chrysler building!"
Designed by Alex Creamer, a student at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. Two more images after the jump.
