Bath & Body Works: Breathe

BBW jars

"Flood Creative was inspired by a mood ring for the creation of the first line of mood-enhancing skin care from Bath & Body Works. to keep that idea at it’s purest, we used only color to distinguish the range of emotions. keeping the rest of the elements simple, and ultimately allowing the brand to “breathe”."

Fruity King

Two projects by PROUDdesign, an Amsterdam based firm, for Fruity King, a producer of fresh fruit juices:

-1

"PROUDdesign has created a new identity for this organic juice brand. They also developed the name based on their creative work. The name "Ripe" reflects the time and care which is taken to grow and ripen the 100% pure and organic fruits. It is decribed as such in the graphical leaf. Together with the still photography and colourful, modern typo we created a real modern organic juice brand."
-2
"This concerns a rapid repositioning of a young brand. We wanted a clear focus on the unique aspect of this brand: flavour by number. Based on three taste aspects, sweet, sour and bitter, all fresh juices are rated and given a unique number. The higher the number, the more pronounched the taste on this aspect. Since these tastes are based on special, fresh fruits this profile and thus number  can change during the season and with the harvest. The soft squared bottle and vertical text lay-out supports the technical background. The range consists of fruit juices and smoothies."

Fresca and Lavanda

Frescaylavanda

More beautiful forms from Lavernia & Cienfuegos:

"Bottles and graphics for two mass-market colognes distributed by Mercadona stores nationwide. The bottles (750ml) are made out of coloured translucent plastic. A modern design with an air of sophistication."

9.60

9.60 is a Men's line of cosmetic products, designed by Lavernia & Cienfuegos:

"A mass-market range of cosmetic products for men that are exclusively distributed in more than 1000 supermarkets of the Spanish chain MERCADONA. This basic line of cosmetics is related to concepts such as being fit, playing sport, exercising… The design of the package tries to reinforce these concepts. The name brings out the idea of a sport record, and the package makes reference to the morphology of the muscle. All the 100 ml and 200 ml containers were design with an ergonomic shape and fabricated in flexible plastic so they are very resistant and they can be carried in a sport bag."

Comotú

More work from Lavernia & Cienfuegos.

"The collection of mass-market fragrances COMOTÚ, designed for Mercadona, was aimed to be a simple product, in harmony with its price, but with a surprising presentation. In order to achieve a good brand image and minimize the costs of production, only one bottle design was used for the eight different fragrances, four in black for men and four in white for women. The distinct fragrances can be differentiated thanks to the different colours of their tops.

The shape of the bottle is rounded and curved, and the packages show shiny and metallic colours.
The final design both of the bottle and its package has the gift to transmit high quality and modernity at a competitive price. It proves that a mass-market product with a good design can be very successful."
