All good things must come to an end, and so we close this series of FIT graduate work with these last five.
1. Chelsea Market Comestibles for Canines by Rebecca Williams:
"Chelsea Market Comestible for Canines, super premium dog food inspired by Chuck the basset hound."
2. Syn by Sarai Robledo:
"SYN is the bad boy of all drinks. It's an absinthe drink inspired by the nickname it was given, "The Green Fairy". The different names for the flavors indicate the different kind of fairies they are."
3. I Hate It When by Stefanie Stalder:
"A line of garbage bags that stands out among the rest on shelf. The emphasis is placed on the function of the bag, which is supported by the image. The overall brand look, including the choice of white, suggests a refreshing take on the not so pleasant topic of garbage."
4. Sutter Home Family Vineyard by Stephanie Hiser:
"This is a typical, mass-market wine brought to life with bold colors and clean lines while still holding onto family charm."
5. B. Men by Samira Villamor:
"A men's line of health & beauty products that captures a classic essence while also capturing the modern man."
Beautiful shopping bags for a women's hairstyle studio designed by Serbian design firm Peter Gregson. Art direction and ilustration by Marijana Zaric, logo design by Jovan Trkulja. The illustration is handmade! Closeup after the jump.
Each year Parfums Salvador Dali, owned by Confiluxe, commission a young designer to design the packaging for new perfumes within their line. This year's project – Little Kiss – was designed by a French artist Mikael Carriau. Carriau designed both the flacon and the outer packaging. The inspiration for the design came from the famous lips created by Dali himself. “The Dali lips and his woman with a flower head were my sources of inspiration. With them in mind, I created this surrealist garden inhabited by a whimsical flower whose curves evoke a woman’s body” (cosmeticnews)

"Project: This project was to create a set of packaging, a catalogue and skateboard designs for skateboard accessories manufacturer Switch Skateboards.
Execution: From the first day skateboard were made, skateboarders were always choosing to skate in illegal spots before riding in skateboard parks. This design concept represents the illegal side of skateboarding and the fact that every skateboarder had some trouble with police officers at least once. Logo of the company looks like a police badge and packaging is using a police report look. For the catalogue and deck designs there are images of police station, fingerprints used to continue in skateboarding being partly illegal."
This is what I call a packaging that kills 2 birds with one stone - It is a box and also acts as a hanger! Concept cleverly thought of by Steve Haslip, a graphic designer from Wivelsfield Green, England.
"The concept was fairly simple: I buy t-shirts online and they always come wrinkled and I always run out of coat-hangers. So I designed a sustainable, reusable way to send and keep your t-shirts. As you open the package you create a coat hanger. The packaging could be made from recycled material whether it is card or plastic and the only waste is the green tear-away tab. The t-shirt seen here is from Threadless. This project won a FIRST prize in the D&AD Student Awards 2007 category 'What else do you do?'."
