Perrier Conversations

Perrier-hartlandvilla

New work from HartlandVilla, a graphic studio based in Paris for Perrier "Conversations", a limited edition series:

This year, the theme is “conversation”. We used the “French” aspect as it is an important value attached to the brand abroad. We played with words and “bubbles” to recreate surreal conversations, collages of words that work well together and evoke sensual and creative conversations in an ironical way. The idea is to leave room for the audience’s imagination to fantasize about situations and ambiences.

The abundance of conversations is set to the rhythm of the profusion of words and the variety of an expressive and contrasting typography. The choice of words projects the idea of “learning French with Perrier”: as many of the expressions we chose evoke clichés of French culture, they make up a totally absurd French language lesson. In this absurdity lies the humor, creativity and as such, the quality of the project."

Campbell's "Help Grow Your Soup"

Campbell_HGYS_Stacked

Fresh work from Anthem Worldwide:

"Campbell is raising excitement and support through special edition cans that remind consumers of the source and quality of their ingredients.

For over 70 years the Campbell Soup Company has cultivated seeds that American farmers use to grow tomatoes for its soups. Believing that quality ingredients are grown from the ground up, Campbell launched the “Help Grow Your Soup” program, which offers free packs of seeds with the purchase of one can of soup, and donates seeds to plant gardens in urban communities and schools nationwide in support of the National FFA Organization (formerly known as the Future Farmers of America)

Campbell tapped Anthem Worldwide to design a compelling label for this special program. The design needed to maintain the soup company’s core messaging while sparking new interest in where quality food comes from and what consumers can do to participate.

Anthem engaged its own creative network around the world to quickly turn around a broad range of concepts to meet Campbell’s aggressive launch schedule. The final design has an honest, forward-looking approach, embracing simplicity to best express uncompromised, wholesome ingredients, while adding temporary new twists to Campbell’s iconic brand elements."

1854 Herbs & Spices

1854
Beautiful packaging designed by Estudio Clara Ezcurra, a small graphic design studio from Argentina:

"Our studio designed recently the new packaging for 1854 herbs & spices from Argentina.
For this development we intended to combine very simple non conventional associations with for spice with a silhouette made to identify every product. The central idea was to translate with some humor signs of universal culture which addressed the diversity of locations, cuisines and regions from which the goods are original.

Being these tins made for a gourmet product the choice for the labels was metalized (silver foil) paper, printed with bright black background in contrast to the metallic color of each product, giving the product a high quality finish and a innovative look."

Student Spotlight: Justin Colt

JustinColt_image1_wm

Justin Colt just finished his senior year at Penn State University and sent in his favorite piece, Chip Ship:

"Concept: The theme of this project was randomly drawn from a hat that was passed around. The challenge was to combine a line of sauces with the theme of the 1960s. Staying away from the grassroots campaigns and hippies movements that were typical for the decade, my research exposed the excitement of something else very prevalent at the time; the 1960s space race.

Design: The aesthetic of Chip Ship was derived from pulling samples of vintage newspaper articles, advertisements, and other media. A lot of inspiration was gained from the study of Bradbury Thompson and his experimentation with color and typography. One of the main goals for Chip Ship was to go beyond just a label, and to design a party experience. LED lights glow brightly, and tins of sauces are dispensed when the ship launches. Flavors Astro Radish, Solar Mint, Cayenne Comet, and Plum Eclipse feature interesting ingredients that are adventurous to sample."
