Inspired directly by California history, E. & J. Gallo Creative designed the packaging for this elegant wine.
“Bear Flag Wines draws its name from the historic Bear Flag Revolt of 1846. This project started from a fantastic brief by our internal marketing partners. We were to develop packaging that brings to life the bold, rebellious, pioneering essence of the original Bear Flag Revolt of 1846. We gained inspiration from various products that were produced and sold during the 1800’s. The typography is reminiscent of vintage whisky labels, but produced in a slightly more modern way. The label itself is a direct print on the bottle and features 10% real gold.”
