“When Macks Ølbryggerier launched a new wine cooler, Spritzer vodka lemon, the brief was that the design needed to stand out from the competition. The category has in Norway been characterized by a feminine look, with design elements borrowed from the various producers of spirits. To differentiate Spritzer, we looked for inspiration in the strict modernism of the sixties. With simple graphic shapes, constrained and timeless typography, and a color palette that is both muted and clear at the same time, Spritzer stands out clearly in the store shelves.”
