Christian Pannicke is based in Berlin and studies Communication Design (BA) at the University of Technology and Business. For this project, Pannicke was inspired by the natural heating properties of Slate while creating the striking branding for this concept wine label.

“Slate is an excellent heat accumulator and therefore optimal also in colder areas for wine growing. Subterránea — “underground” — the label plays on the invisible heat accumulator. Hand-applied bronze layers symbolize the emergence and growth of this hard rock.”
