Karen Kresge designed the packaging for Boilo, a conceptual drink that claims to be “the coal miner’s cure all.” The packaging has a rustic, old-timey feel to it that makes it feel like it’s an old family recipe being passed down.
“Boilo is the high-octane Yuletide drink that has been served hot in the coal regions of Pennsylvania for over a hundred years. Warm up a shot and sip it slowly. The citrus & spices swirled together with moonshine will warm the cockles of your heart. The box and label are a contemporary take on vintage typography and design.”
