Dan Alexander & Co. designed this fun and bold packaging for Kukuriku, a Tel-Aviv based chicken restaurant. The branding is exciting and almost provides a sense of movement.

“A great king once demanded the perfect picture of a rooster. Artists nationwide tried, but only one painter from nowhere drew the most royal rooster ever - with a single brushstroke. ‘So perfect, so quickly?!’ raged the king, ‘Off with his head!’ Later they found hundreds and thousands of rooster sketches in his studio, which he made in his endless effort for that singular rooster.”

“Of all the happy hens we drew at Dan Alexander & Co. for renowned chef Ran Shmueli, it's this particular chicken that made us all fall in love. So we named her Kukuriku, and filled up the entire space around her with farm-life scenes and some veggies. Basing Kukuriku on handmade crafts and organic shapes, we created a visual language that is both bold and filled with humour, applying it to the printed materials, packages, walls, and a website. Now, all that's left to do is hop over to Kukuriku for a peck of good taste, starting first in Tel Aviv, and soon also in Paris and New York.”
