INULINU mustards, ketchups, and jams are not your ordinary fare. These are made with Jerusalem Artichoke, also called sunroot, which contains an essential component to every healthy diet: inulin. DekoRatio Branding & Design Studio developed new branding and packaging design for INULINU that is refreshing and fun.

“We named the brand INULINU to make a playful reference to its main characteristic, its richness of inulin, and make the whole brand strategy around the purpose of giving people a tasty way of consuming their daily dose of this essential nutrition. Designing the logo and the identity our aim was to combine a natural feeling with a modern touch and create an identity that can be applied through many product lines.”

The INULINU line uses a unique ingredient that simply makes the final product better. Two different packaging designs were created—one with bold, rich colors and simple background illustrations to indicate the product, and the other with delicate, watercolor images and a chocolate brown label. The bright colors used in the first design are instantly eye-catching and emphasize that the jams and mustards have an intense flavor. The second design feels more down-to-earth and highlights the care that goes into making each item. Every product, whether it’s ketchup or jam, comes in a similar glass jar, letting consumers get a little peek at what they’re purchasing.
