Grönstedts Le National is an absolute delight, through and through. NINE designed this entire limited edition box that is much more than just a cognac—it’s something that appeals to every sense. Even the image on the front reminds us of old circus posters or the Ziegfeld Follies, presenting us with more than just a show, but a memorable experience. Gold foil adds a bit of luxury, while the illustration done in an old-fashioned style takes us back to a simpler time.
“Every year in June Grönstedts release ‘Le National’—their flagship cognac celebrating the Swedish national holiday. With a limited budget and tight time plan, the client briefed us to lift the quality of Le National’s appearance to match that of the product within. In hopes to active the whole brand, a new strategy was created to lift the unique dual origin of the product. Our objective was not only to design a premium product but to develop analog production techniques in order to deliver a truly special experience that would appeal to all five senses.”
