The juicy, sustainably farmed tomatoes, the fine ingredients of the Mediterranean cuisine, the Greek herbs and the simple, homemade recipes that inspired the sauces had to be ‘cooked’ artfully onto the new packages, which had to stand out at first glance as the new member of the Pummaro products family. For this reason, the rough, light-coloured, wood of the traditional wooden crates where tomatoes are stacked right after their harvest and which are the trademark of all the Pummaro packages, is dominant.”
