Coats Design developed the packaging to suit the Hubbards brand and also attract a wide audience with varying needs.
“Personalising the breakfast and snacking experience is a new and growing trend for a group of consumers called ‘tinkerers.’ Whether for health reasons, lifestyle, taste or texture experience, consumers are wanting to customise to suit their individual tastes and needs. Hubbards have developed a family of 4 mixes to cater for this growing trend, each created with a specific consumer in mind.”
Each product is vastly different, so the packaging had to reflect the unique qualities inside. Seeds & Ancient Grains uses an earthy color palette and images from nature to show the wholesome ingredients, while Clusters & Yogurt Sultanas feature a bright cranberry colored billboard that implies a bold flavor. All of the boxes have a small, clear circle on the front, allowing us to see the product inside, helping buyers to figure out which one they like the best.
