Looking for a way to get rid of your Jeep’s “new car” appearance? Hoping to add a bit of adventure to it’s look? Then you need a Jeep Mud Mask.
This incredibly limited edition release was designed by Parasol Island as a novelty item for Jeep owners. The mud mask is designed to “Give your Jeep back its natural look of adventure,” and it is a play on the traditional mud mask one might use for their skin. While inside the can is literally just dirt, it is juxtaposed by packaging that says otherwise. The mud mask is packaged in a black box with glossy black tire marks running over the top. Inside, this “adventure in a can” includes small details that tie it back into the Jeep brand.
The year 1941 frames the sides, which is the year that the first Jeep went into production, and a small white sticker rests over the lid, with lines and two circles that look like the grill of the Jeep. On the back, instructions are kept simple and straightforward, divided up into sections. A batch number appears on the back to emphasize how few of these were produced, thus elevating the value of each can.
