As temps continue to get colder and colder in the Northern Hemisphere, get a taste of summer with Absolute’s Summer Kiss. This refreshing grapefruit IPA comes from Absolute Agency to celebrate their 10th anniversary, and it even comes in a gift box with a specialty glass.
“To honor Absolute’s 10th anniversary, we had to come up with a unique project that defines our way of life and work. We love a good beer after a week of hard work. By coincidence—or not?—one of our co-workers is designer by day, microbrewer at night. Quickly the idea emerged to make our own beer. Two months later, the Summer Kiss was born. An IPA beer with hints of grapefruit, 100% brewed inside our agency. Evidently, we designed a visual identity for the beer as well. The box, the glass, the bottle…Everything was created in-house to reflect the love we have for what we do.”
A beautiful gradient of hot pink and burnt orange are perfectly suited to the IPA’s grapefruit flavor, and it’s also reminiscent of gorgeous summer sunsets. The font is playful and fun, suited well to the illustration style of smaller icons like palm trees and campervans (and other summer-inspired items). Each box opens up to say “Cheers from Absolute Agency,” which is a small detail that truly adds a personal touch. The large brown bottle is typical of a craft beer, while the festive glass adds a bit of liveliness.
