Peanuts, cashews, and almonds never tasted so good. Glazed in rich brown sugar, these little morsels are to die for! Packaged in easy portable containers, Zhuang Tao wanted to give life to the underrated food. Inspired by the infamous Roy Lichtenstein, stackable plastic bottles are wrapped in comic book-style illustrations that scream, “Eat Me!”.
The copy and brand name is condensed to the base of the packaging, structuring the design so it’s not only pleasing to the eye but turns attention to the magical product itself represented through artistic expression.
“ ‘Brown sugar nut’ is a leisure food (snack) series, including four different tastes. Brown sugar and nut, two commonly used food materials in the market, are combined creatively and hugged each other tightly with different brittleness, various “rhythm sensation” and rich tastes. Peanut packed with sugar coating is sold in snack food market in China, but combing several nuts with brown sugar is rare. We viewed similar snack packages, which mainly are PE bags. Different leisure foods hang on the shelves with bright colors so that it is hard to distinguish them clearly.”
