Sometimes you just need a little something sweet. Petit Plaisir is a line of fine chocolates (which taste like mouthwatering cherry pie or chocolate brownie), and LOCO Studio designed the packaging to highlight the tempting flavors.

“Petit Plaisir (“a small delectation”) is a series of unique handmade chocolate products with a variety of tastes and fillings. The base of which are natural jellies, French berry marshmallows (guimauve) and marble cakes (gateau). The candies covered by dark tasting chocolate are made in accordance with the recipes of the pastry-shop called Seven Guest.”

“The brand is presented by a series of chocolates with nine different tastes: a chocolate brownie, a blueberry pie, a cherry pie, a cookie with nuts, a strawberry pudding, a berry smoothie, a strawberry lollipop, an ice-cream. The sweets come with a paper-based wrapper and a gift wrapper. Communication with a customer is realized through a series of stylized illustrations of confectionaries which are the same as real candies, simple lined patterns and different colour fills are also used.”

Each treat is individually wrapped with an adorable illustration that shows which flavor it is. The combination of a bold sans serif font and an elegant script give the brand a bit of a French patisserie vibe, and bold red stripes on the box feel a little bit retro. With a combination of bright colors, the packaging feels energetic and gets the consumer excited about opening each wrapped chocolate.
