Diet Coke Celebrates Its Biggest Fans With 'Retweets of Love'
In an uniquely fresh social campaign, Diet Coke tapped acclaimed designers from around the world to reimagine the iconic look of the brand to surprise its biggest fans. Over the past few months, more than 50 fan tweets were transformed into bespoke pieces of offline artwork in a playful twist on the marketing standard of retweeting fan comments on Twitter.
The campaign, nicknamed “Retweets of Love,” surprised fans with their own words artfully reimagined and brought to life in public and unexpected places, from the boardwalk in their hometown to the pages of their favorite magazine. Diet Coke handed the selected tweets over to a group of top illustrators, sculptors, painters, graphic artists and even knitters, letting their signature styles take the lead. As a result, each one-of-a-kind piece of artwork is inspired by the great taste of Diet Coke, but truly unique to the designer’s interpretation and vision.
