TEA AS ENCYCLOPEDIA

Tea is pretty much always a good idea — with a healthy breakfast, for an afternoon break, or at the end of a long and stressful day. While many may view loose leaf tea as superior to tea bags, TEA AS ENCYCLOPEDIA clearly changes that mindset.

Studio DEZA’s task was to create a series of packaging for Perfect Organics classic tea. And to show one of its key advantages: the quality of the tea used for the tea bags is not inferior to the loose leaf tea quality. In order to attract the tea-lovers’ attention to the tea individually packed products, we decided to tell the secrets of each kind of tea in details. That is why the informative part of the packaging imitates the page of encyclopedia. By using infographics in botanical illustration style we gave maximum information on the origins and classification of the tea leaves, taste qualities, boiling temperature and consumption options.”

Dried tea leaf graphics grace the front of the packaging, indicating the same quality that consumers perceive loose leaf teas have. The packaging has the appearance of yellowed paper, mimicking pages of a book and also establishing a rich history.

TEA AS ENCYCLOPEDIA attaches the story of the leaves to the product, making it immediately special and intriguing to tea lovers. A map of where the product is sourced and information of the area and leaves suits the brand perfectly to those who drink tea regularly. At the same time, less experienced tea drinkers may appreciate the ease of using tea bags, and by purchasing TEA AS ENCYCLOPEDIA they will be able to become more knowledgeable about it.
