Apple redesigns third-party accessory packaging
by Elizabeth Freeman on 07/08/2015 | 1 Minute Read
Apple is gearing up to revamp third-party accessory packaging by next week. They have been working with Mophie, Logitech, Tech21, Incase, and Life Proof on this project for six months to redesign their boxes so that the experience more closely similarly matches the boxes of Apple’s own products. Packaging will be white with a more minimal design aesthetic. Clean type, new photography, and more consistent labeling will be implemented to strengthen the brands' identity. Over time, Apple is expected to collaborate with more accessory makers to support the new packaging style which will reduce the inventory of items that do not fit the new look.
