Director's Cut Cinema

The Director’s Cut version of a film is a way for filmmakers to showcase their creative vision for a movie, and the Director’s Cut wines at Francis Ford Coppola Winery are the way winemaker Corey Beck can share his unique interpretation of Sonoma wine.

“Corey’s vision for Director’s Cut embraces appellation-specific sourcing, meticulous fruit selection, and numerous blending trials so that our wines capture the distinct nuances of Sonoma’s microclimates in a highly refined style well-suited to fine cuisine.”

The bottle, designed by the winery itself, is covered with subtle film-inspired details. The label wraps around it like a film strip and the bottle opening appears almost like a small film reel. The bottle is comprised of a matte black suit and the splashes of gold that cover it are reminiscent of a statue one would see handed out at an awards show.
