Kickstarter is a crowded place. For Savage Jerky Co. to stand out, they needed a style that embraced their home-spun, small-batch ethos – with some serious bite.
Jet-black bags, earthy colors, and an angular heat level gauge portend burned mouths and happy stomachs. Consistent visual language was employed across the nine flavors, with a special variation of the packaging created for the Sriracha Line. The packaging was developed to create impact while not breaking the upstart jerky maker’s budget.
