Meet James Sommerville and speaker for The Dieline Program at How Design Live. Sommerville founded Attik in 1986, in his grandmother’s attic, with a £2,000 startup grant from the UK’s young people’s charity The Prince’s Trust. It went on to establish offices in Leeds, London, New York, San Francisco, Sydney, and Los Angeles. In 2007, Attik was sold to Dentsu. Sommerville left Dentsu in September 2012, after fulfilling his five-year commitment to the company. Most recently, Sommerville has been leading a creative agency, Bonafide Guests Only (BGO).

Presented from the inside perspective of a company that’s leading the way in this trend —Coca-Cola —this session will explore the shifts that are changing the way designers work, collaborate and develop their careers.
