You may find it difficult to believe that these miniature meditative grounds are actually edible. With the unique collaboration between art directors Tomonori Saito, Shohei Sawada and Japanese wagashi artisan Motohiro Inaba, black sesame shapes resembling rocks are dusted at the base with matcha powder and placed on top a bed of sugar. A small wooden rake is supplied, giving the consumer a moment to express themselves before the garden disappears into their stomachs.
