Before & After: Nonnina

Design agency Brandlab worked with Peruvian pastry retailer Todinno to re-brand its Dely Kids pastry.

Todinno wanted to re-design their Dely Kids muffins, enhanced with dried fruit, kiwicha (a Peruvian seed) and quinoa, with a new look that would showcase its nutritional benefits and appeal to a wider audience.

“The challenge for us was to come up with a name that could have a positive connotation and help the product strategy. That’s when Nonnina was born. Nonnina is a term of endearment meaning “little grandmother” in Italian. We decided to make the name and the description with hand writing to give the product personality [and] stand out in the point of purchase [display].” – Brandlab

Brandlab redesigned Todinno’s food packaging with a warmth and intimacy that evokes grandma’s kitchen and paired it with refreshing new packaging that effortlessly combines white space and a bold new logotype that is simplistic in style, yet personal and eye-catching to consumers.
