Méduse Genre
by Barbara Zandvliet on 09/23/2014 | 1 Minute Read
Designer Andrea Gregis created an artistic homage to Méduse Genre's namesake, otherwise known as a jellyfish, for the brand's wine bottle packaging. Working in just two colors - opaque black and luminous sea foam blue - the brand chose to recreate the mysterious and enigmatic nature of the ocean to reinforce its personality and style.
The hand-drawn quality of the the graphics add an element of movement to the packaging and the gold accents, both in the logotype and illustration add an ethereal quality to the product packaging, which is rather stark aside from the jellyfish.
