Machine Dear Album Cover

A trippy optical illusion, made by OddFischlein for Machine Dear’s Album cover. If you look closely, you can see the band’s logo installed in the center in a black and white striped pattern, outlined repetitively in the same striped design, ultimately creating this visual fallacy. The design is then taken and overlapped with another motif that can be slipped on and off, conclusively animating the entire piece.

“Killing something that’s already dead is the name of Machine Dears debut album. Through computer editing, samples, vocals and other effects they explore the relationship between technology and human. OddFischlein has created the EP’s visual identity through shifts in patterns that creates a visual representation of the music’s vibrations.”
