THIS IS IT! DIELINE Awards 2026 Late Entry Deadline Ends Feb 28

Vinomofo created a self-promotional old vintage label for Old Money Cabernet Sauvignon.
“The name ‘Old Money’ is a way to poke fun at the wine establishment. The bottle itself uses meaningless marketing terms (in the wine industry) aimed squarely at confusing the consumer into thinking that the product has earned a more than authentic provenance. Terms like ‘single vineyards’, ‘relatively small batch’, ‘bottle no. 1 of 6’ (on every bottle) and the subtle use of a question mark after the non-legislated term ‘reserve’ convey this message, while the back label is a treatise on hyperbole.”
