Students Matthew Gordils and Paul Sheriff created Totally Organic as a school project. Their concept was to develop a label for Trader Joe’s organic orange juice. They started brainstorming about how Trader Joe’s sells orange juice. Usually orange juice comes in a carton or a frozen concentrate. For the packaging, they played off botanical drawings and retro fruit patterns. Their vision brought in fruit with a stunning and vintage label for Trader Joe’s private brand.
