Student Garreth Bayliss created Frontier Microbrewery as a class project. His tasked was to create a Microbrewery brand Identity endorsed by Carlsberg. The target market was adults from 20 to 25 year olds who are ‘explorers’. The result was a creative and unique bottle design that takes the ‘explore’ idea to its limits.
“I decided to aim for the premium end of the market, alternate to what Carlsberg already produce. I wanted to escape the traditional feel usually associated with microbreweries. And I also wanted create something aspirational for the younger audience based around the idea of pushing their own boundaries. This led on to the name of ‘Frontier’ which stands for a boundary or border, something that can be broken past.”
