“Pulling on elements of service style to always remain functional in any graphic element that was created, sticking to the ethos: if it’s there, it’s there for a reason. With the cafe a newcomer in a community centric and fiercely ‘indy’ neighborhood, we helped open a dialogue between the operators and the locals by creating opportunities for narrative, turning alcoves into community notice boards to give them a voice within the space.”
