Celebrity Matches is Pictionary with a greater risk of third degree burns. UK based designer, Nick Yates was inspired by a game his tutors and her friends would play whilst at a pub – simply from playing around with matches. As an excuse to play around with print techniques and packaging, he decided to make it a reality.

“The aim of the game is simple. Draw celebrities using matchsticks. The less you use, the better you are. It’s kind of like Pictionary for alcoholics and pyromaniacs.”

"I designed the packaging, the instruction leaflet, beer mat advertisements and an app that allows you to play with people all over the world and beyond.

Each box has been screen printed, foil blocked and hand made. Colours include Fluorescent Red and the trays are pure gold (card)."
