Shout Design was assigned with a revitalization of Bürgen Gluten Free – first main stream Gluten free product in the market in New Zealand. They had 50% of the category when launched. This changed dramatically when competitors started to launch thier own gluten free range.
“The Brief was to (revitalize the Bürgen brand), make it vital and more relevant to consumers who saw its european heritage as a negative. The design injected vitality, naturalness, craft, flavour and New Zealandness into the Bürgen brand. The design has broken category norms creating an exciting vibrant and uniquely New Zealand design. The design has been a huge success regaining a large portion of market share within weeks of launch.”
