Back in July of 2012, we featured Lumi Co.'s Kickstart project for dyes that develop in sunlight. Now, after an year in operation, they have recently launch a new product line. Identity and packaging design led by Stephan Angoulvant with the in-house design team at Lumi Co., said:

"For the new product line we decided to put Inkodye’s light-activated properties front and center. We looked to create flexible graphic elements that express the magic of seeing Inkodye’s color develop. The new light ray patterns can be found throughout the packaging as colorful glossy accents on the matte surface of our kits and bottles."

New icons and illustrations by Ricky Linn were designed to explain the steps of printing fabric with the Lumi Process.

Lumi Co. manufactures Inkodye, new photo-sensitive dyes for textiles that make it easy to print t-shirts at home. The new Print Fabric With Light kit is ideal for beginners or anyone planning a small set of Lumi projects. It includes the innovative Inkocap Roller which screws onto Inkodye bottles and helps apply the dye more easily.
