"Heck sausages launched to bring integrity back to the meat industry. Leading design agency Elmwood has created Heck, a new brand of sausages that will bring farmer’s market style sausages to the mainstream and reignite the country’s love of the food.

Elmwood has worked closely with Debbie and Andrew Keeble, whom they worked with previously on the creation of the Debbie & Andrew’s sausage brand, to create a trusted new range. Rooted in British excellence, Heck doesn’t compromise on quality. The new sausages will be launched for the first time in Tesco this week with a range being sold on Ocado and at markets across the country."

 

 

"Heck comes from the family’s saying 'What the Heck' and will bring farmer’s market quality sausages to everyone. It will also create a legacy for the Keeble family who first launched Debbie & Andrew’s sausages in 1999.  Following the sale of the Debbie & Andrew’s brand, the Keebles felt that the quality and integrity of the product had been compromised by the new owners. They have started again with a premium brand that will use only the finest quality ingredients in exciting new flavours and formats. As a small, independent producer, they are also able to say 'What the Heck'to big business and stay true to their own recipes, ideas and integrity.

Elmwood worked closely with the Keebles to gain insights into the market before developing a compelling brand story for Heck that could be taken to market. Elmwood then created the brand marque and tone of voice before rolling this out across all packaging and on its website. It also created all the visuals, point of sale and digital design elements ready for launch.
