Packaging designed in celebration of a recent change in Mississippi law.

"The work was created for their new Timber Beast 9.0% ABV Rye IPA in celebration of the recent Mississippi law change allowing beer with alcohol content higher than 6.0% ABV. The beer was first bottled at midnight on June 30/July 1 – the day the law went into effect. The inspiration behind the Timber Beast name comes from the nickname of Butch Bailey, one of the staunchest supporters of the law change and recent past president of Raise Your Pints. Butch works for Mississippi State University as a forester – hence the nickname.

Timber Beast has been a raging hit. The brewery is having a hard time keeping it on the shelves."
