Beautiful packaging for Ripa mulled wines, created for the Scandinavian market.
The objective was to create a visual identity and name for a new range of unique and well crafted mulled wines (glögg) to be launched on the Scandinavian market. The range consists of modern versions of the tradition mull wine (glögg) based on Ripasso wines from Italy - An innovative and high quality product, suitable for both the regular mulled wine consumer and the ambitious connoisseur.
The idea was to use the iconic high quality Ripasso wines from Italy to create a new version of the traditional and typically Scandinavian mulled wine. We came up with the brilliant name "Ripa" to symbolize the clash and fusion of the two cultures. Ripa is not only the first four letters of Ripasso, it is also a typical and common Nordic grouse that you’ll find up in the north of the Scandinavian countries. The Italian origin is also reflected in the choice of red, green and white colors on in the pack design.
