Greenhook was born in 2011 out of the passion of ginophile Steven DeAngelo (master distiller) who aimed to create the ultimate gin.
"Steven DeAngelo's artisan recipe uses American grown botanicals and ingredients, distilled in a bespoke designed mercury vacuum still, giving a magically purer and aromatic spirit.
The brief was to create a suite of packaging for two products, American Dry Gin and Beach Plum Gin Liqueur, which would stand out on shelf in both on and off premise, whilst remaining true to the artisan heritage of the liquid. Steven wanted a classic look and feel that would maintain a modern twist without being pretentious.
We sourced a bottle that reflected the small batch distilled gin and designed the full bottle adornment, ensuring the complete package had all the necessary touch points to convey the excellence of the gin. Creative production finishes were applied to the packaging to help enhance the design. The use of fluorescent-pigmented inks was applied to increase colour lift and improve bar call whilst brand screen-printed onto the bottle and metal medal necktie adds a handcrafted feel."
