Almanac Beer Co. is a San Francisco microbrewery that produces seasonal ales brewed in collaboration with select Northern California sustainable farms.
The brewery’s ethos and process are a throwback to an earlier time when virtually the entire beer making process was done by hand—from the brewing of the beer to the application of the labels to the harvesting and processing of the fruit. “As the designer and co-founder of Almanac, my inspiration for the label design was to evoke this bygone era with the use of foil stamping, textured embossing, engraved illustrations and the use of multiple period typefaces.”
