Aigua de Vilajuïga is a brand of naturally sparkling mineral water sourced from an aquifer 200m below Vilajuïga, a village located in the Alt Empordà region of Catalonia. Established in 1904 the brand has a rich history which includes motor-sport sponsorship in 1917, a gold medal award in 1929, praise from famous Catalonia writer Josep Pla in 1942, selection by chef Ferran Adria for his world renowned restaurant elBullie and was documented as having been surrealist painter Salvador Dalí’s favourite water.
