“L’ASCARI is a range of candles that are handmade using traditional artisan methods by hand pouring the wax and hand blending the perfumes. The candles use 100% pure soy wax and twisted cotton wicks with a maximum of only four candles made at any one time. We are located in Melbourne, Australia however our ancestors originate from Italy and it is their family home which is depicted on the candle label. This photograph was the inspiration for producing an artisan product.”
“As an Industrial Designer I wanted to create a product with outstanding performance; a fresh, little bit quirky, clean look with characteristics of an old past steeped in tradition. A product which would not simply be a passing fad or get lost amongst the thousands of designer products already on the market.”
