Al Ahram (Heineken International) asked Design Bridge to help them launch a premium limited edition vodka for which the project scope included structural design, packaging design and naming. Since then, ID Black Onyx Vodka has received a Golden Award for the design at the Spirits International Prestige Awards 2011 in San Diego, California.

 

"Al Ahram wanted to launch a premium, limited edition vodka that would appeal to wealthy young Egyptians. Our brief was to create a cool, confident edition to compete with international brands; a drink to be seen with, that reflects status and wealth. Black Onyx, the precious gem discovered in ancient Egypt, became the name and the inspiration behind our integrated solution.
