Slacks Cologne

Created as a commemoration of first CSA Archive illustration book, Slacks is CSA's one and only Fragrance.

"Designed, bottled, packaged and sold to commemorate the publication of the first CSA Archive illustration book, Slacks was our first – and only – fragrance. Although it makes you “smell like your dad,” it was created to be uni-sex, or as the screen-printed tin puts it, “even ladies love to wear Slacks.”

Designed by Charles S. Anderson Design Co.

I've got to admit... as a younger person who runs a packaging website (http://packaging-central.com/), I love the in-your-face direction that packaging design is moving in. Products are getting more refined to their audiences, albeit they lose their "mass appeal" but producers are realizing that "mass market" doesn't actually exist. It's impossible to make a unique product that EVERYONE will want.

It's hard to convince the older people that I work with that using humor and tongue-in-cheek content can pay off in terms of engagement. I hope they come around :)
