Stockholm based NINE has recently redesigned the packaging for Ramlösa's Premium PET. Check it out below, and share your thoughts on the redesign below.

"Stockholm based NINE has recently redesigned the packaging for Ramlösa's Premium PET. The task was to replace the old glass bottle, which is both costly and environmentally unfriendly,  and instead create premium bottle in PET. The design challenge was to achieve a premium association, since the association to plastic materials is not premium in the target group."

These forms are truly works of art. It's amazing that blow-molded plastic can actually be this beautiful.

Interesting choice trying to class up the top by using a paper wrap. It's giving me a little bit of a salad dressing vibe when combined with the grooves, but I'm guessing whatever brand it reminds me of isn't for sale in Sweden, so that association probably isn't a problem. Still, I wish there was a little more progression from simple to complex, as the pattern goes from the bottom of the bottle to the top. The way the light hits the one with the white label kind of demonstrates this.

I don't get how can a glass bottle be "environmentally unfriendly" compared to a PET. But nice packaging!

A glass bottle is probably more enviromentally unfriendly because it takes more energy to manufacture and transport (due to it's weight). PET bottles are recycable (at least in Sweden) so that's not an issue.

I like it. The bottom part looks expensive.Something you will probably find at the first class/diplomat airport lounge. I'm not too sure about the paper top I think it contrast too much with the expensive looking bottom.
