The RNLI is a charity that saves lives at sea. They provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales.
RNLI wished to broaden their appeal with their locally sourced confectionery range, so invited us to review their packaging design. The brief was to engage with visitors across the country and to remind them of ‘beautiful days by the sea’. We visualised the British seaside using various scenarios and nostalgic elements that are simplistic, positive and coherent across the range.
With over 140 shops people can help support the lifesaving work of the RNLI by shopping at one of their stores, with 100% of the profits from sales going towards saving lives at sea.
