Vintage Flea Market Finds, Pt. II

There were too many great finds to not do a second post. I found this wooden beer crate to be especially intersting. The antiques dealer gave me a tip and explained that the way to spot an original from a fake is to look for "Since 1879" as opposed to 2 dates listing a time bracket such as 1879-2011. Have a look inside the post to see what an original looks like.

If you go to a flea market and see something great you think should be in the vintage section on The Dieline, tweet it to me @meg_cummins.

Beautiful finds! The Budweiser crate in particular looks so well crafted.

Haha my husband has that beer crate in our closet to hold his cable/wire collection. It was a hand me down from his dad because his mom thought it was an eyesore.

I know- I LOVE the look of this crate. I think they make great home decor. It's interesting to see how sturdy and vibrant it still looks when it's well over 100 years old.

Laura- cables!? I'll swap cable boxes with you :)
