Wood Pecker Cider
Smith and Milton did some dusting and cleaning for Bulmer's Woodpecker Cider. Using a refreshing recognizable "sweet cider red" and a woodcut illustration of the iconic woodpecker, the brand kept its well known identity while sporting a new, more striking, clean contemporary look.
Concept design for Adega Mayor. We love the idea of using hand drawn illustrations as a design element. The metallic bronze accents are a good touch that ties the whole packaging in, between labels, lids and type.
Stella Artois Cidre
Stella Artois, the best-selling Belgian beer in the world, is introducing Stella Artois Cidre to the surging U.S. cider market.
Stella Artois Cidre is showcase in the familiar bottle with the prominent Stella Artois logo. The word "Cidre" is in a black, with golden outline script typeface, underlining the imported quality.
The 4 pack carrier box and 24 bottle case is illustrate with grayscale images of apples, on each corner, as well as the measure information, giving the brand's logo, product name and description the attention they need.
Stella Artois Cidre is a crisp, distinctive European-style cider made with apples hand-picked from wine growing regions. Initially it will be available in 26 U.S. states, with further expansion possible in 2014. Sales to retailers begin on May 13.
Boudreau Bitters was another chance for David Cole Creative to work with Canon Seattle's famous Jamie Boudreau – award winning bartender, restaurateur, curator of the world’s best drink selection. David Cole had the opportunity to dress up his signature bitters with the premium label design they deserve. An embossed, common (master) label design with write-in varietal name is flexible and affordable, while at the same time lending a hand-made touch to these authentically hand-made bitters.
Student: Flying Pig Cider
Swinburne University student, Dani Kaspar has been awarded the annual Student Ampersand Award for Creative Excellence by packaging design agency Cowan. Kaspar designed her own craft cider brand targeted towards 18-25 year olds in accordance with a detailed brief specifically set for the competition.
As a result of her work Kaspar has been offered a full-time role at Cowan’s Melbourne studio.
